Believe it or not, I was a Marine Corps Logistics Officer for a whole decade. Ten years of my life, all mapped out in military precision. Then boom – my husband and I decided to start a family.

Talk about a plot twist, right?

Suddenly, my priorities did a complete 180. The structured, regimented military life I'd known for 10 years - it just didn't fit with the family life we dreamed of.
